I wanted to write this webpage to give an update on a complaint that I had from a buyer and want to define something...
PET QUALITY...
I will not sell a dog to anyone as show quality unless that I think it will do well in the show ring. Understanding this... it must look as if it is a good example of the breed standard. If I find faults in the puppy/dog, I will sell it as LIMITED registration with the AKC. Limited registration means that if you were to breed the dog, the offspring would not be registerable through the AKC.
If I have a puppy that looks as if it is promising (looks like a good example of the breed standard) and going to the right home that can exhibit and do the proper health testing, I have no problem sending it to its new home with FULL AKC registration.
PLEASE! If you are wanting a puppy just because it is a status symbol or just to have one, don't call me! I only want my puppies to go to homes and be loved for who and what they are.
It will always be in the contract as to whether your dog is considered Pet Quality or Show Quality. The reason for this is breeding is not an exact science. Please don't be afraid to ask for pictures of your new puppy. We are more than happy to send as many or different kinds you ask for.
